Chainclamp Advantages
External loading over the full circumference of the sleeve can be predetermined and is evenly distributed. This makes it possible to efficiently control pipe hoop stresses at any desired level.
Components
The Chainclamp consists of leaf chain, hydraulic cylinder, pull rod with adjusting nut, thrust washer, scissor type arms, a wrench and the safety cover.
Available Sizes
Two sizes of chain clamp were developed to cover standard pipe sizes from 6 to 12 inches and 12 to 48 inches. The chain clamp is adjusted to any pipe diameter by simply changing the length of the leaf chain.
